Your name is Kris and you are regarded as your hometown's resident weirdo. Everyone, from the priestess to your father, considers your recklessness and undying love for the undead to be something of a problem, but you? You've always viewed it as a strength.
Now that you're getting older, though, your father has been insisting that you occupy your time doing something more... productive. Something safer. After all, your mother died due to the very thing you've been studying: Necromancy.
Well, one thing leads to another and you wind up having to move out. More specifically, you get kicked out. Whatever. Everyone's mad at you now, but you feel in your heart of hearts that your tenacity will be rewarded in due time...
