about me!
Freddie, also known as Resident // Cryptid, is a New York based composer and classical violinist-turned-violist with a passion for creating stories that can only be told through play. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s in Composition & Interactive Media Scoring in 2026 and started his Master’s in Game Design at NYU that same year, as one does.
Fun fact lightning round! He’s composed a couple of award-winning concert pieces like DEATH SPIRAL (2025) & METAMORPHOSIS (2024), was one of the composers behind Invaders! (2025), which won the audience and best soundtrack awards in the 2025 Game/Music Jam, and is currently working as a line artist, composer, and narrative designer on three game projects that have yet to be announced publicly… How mysterious!
Besides music and games, he also likes doodling, reading, silly cats, and diving down research rabbit holes between midnight and three o’ clock in the morning.
